Blue Sky Solutions was founded in 2007 to provide a range of design and development services for embedded computer systems and ultrasonic instrumentation.

The company is based in Nelson, New Zealand but aims to provide services internationally as well as locally. By combining software and electronic design experience with related disciplines such as engineering, design for manufacture and applications-level IT, the company can offer turnkey solutions from a single source.

An important part of Blue Sky's business is the development of ultrasonic inspection systems, which are a vital part of the QA process for many materials and products, especially those using adhesives and composite materials such as carbon fibre.
